AP Chemistry Entropy Pixel Art
Are you looking for an engaging way for students to practice determining if a process results in an increase or decrease in entropy? Try this self-checking Google Sheet. This resource contains 15 scenarios, including both chemical and physical processes. As students read the scenario, they determine if the process would result in an increase or decrease in entropy.
As a student correctly determines the entropy change, colors will appear to the right on the Google Sheet. If they choose the incorrect answer, no colors will appear. Once all questions are answered correctly, an entire image is revealed.
This resource can be used for distance learning, or as guided practice after in-class instruction, or for review. Both you and your students must have a Google account and access to the internet to use this resource.
This resource includes both the student Google Sheet document and the Key.
