Chemistry Balancing Chemical Equations Crack the Case Puzzle Worksheets Activity
Give your students more practice with balancing chemical equations in this ready to print puzzle. This activity contains 12 reactions for students to balance. Each problem will ask something like "what is the coefficient of water?" That coefficient becomes a number in a combination lock.
Once students have answered all problems, they will enter all 4 combinations on a puzzle sheet that includes clues such as "2 are correct. 1 is correctly placed and 1 is incorrectly placed." Using the 4 combinations, the 4 clues, and deductive reasoning, students will determine a final 3-digit code to crack the case!
