AP Chemistry Bond Enthalpy Pixel Art in a Self-Checking Google Sheets
Are you looking for an engaging way for students to practice determining enthalpy for a reaction using bond enthalpies? This Bond Enthalpy pixel art includes 5 bond enthalpy problems for students to determine:
the total energy required to break bonds in the reaction
the total energy released when forming bonds in the reaction
the net energy change for the reaction
if the reaction is endothermic or exothermic based on the net energy change
There are 5 bond enthalpy problems provided. As students enter the correct values, colors will appear on the right side of the sheet. Once all problems are answered correctly, an entire image appears!
This resource can be used for distance learning, or as guided practice after in-class instruction, or for review. Both you and your students must have a Google account and access to the internet to use this resource.
This resource includes both the student Google Sheet document and the Key.
