











Chemistry Density Self-Checking and Partner Checking Worksheets
Give your students more practice with a variety of density calculations in these self-checking and partner-checking worksheets! These worksheets include mixed calculations for density, so students must interpret which method to use as they solve the problems.
The self-checking worksheet contains 5 density problems where the answers are all the same (or very close). Students will know immediately if they do not complete the problem correctly as the answer will not match the rest.
The partner check worksheet contains a Student A side and a Student B side, each with 5 problems. The answer to problem 1 will be the same for each student, even though their problems are different. The answer to problem 2 for each student will be the same, and so on. This allows students to check their work as they go with a partner.
This resource includes 2 worksheets, with 5 problems each that contain the following density calculations:
calculating density when given mass and volume
calculating density after determining the volume of a block
calculating density after determining volume by displacement
calculating mass when provided density and volume
calculating volume when provided density and mass
