AP Chemistry Identifying Intermolecular Forces IMF Write the Room Printable Activity
Are you looking for a quick and engaging way for students to practice identifying intermolecular forces from diagrams? Write the room activities are a quick, engaging way for students to practice skills. This Write the Room activity is a great way for students to gain additional practice!
This activity contains 10 letter-sized pages containing IMF diagrams. Students will be asked to determine what intermolecular force is represented by the diagram. The following IMF are included:
ion-dipole forces
dipole-dipole forces
hydrogen-bonding
London Dispersion
Dipole-Induced Dipole
Students are given a recording sheet to write down their answers. The 10 sheets are hung up around the room, and individuals or groups of 2 will roam around the room, interpreting the IMF diagrams.
This resource comes with 10 pages of intermolecular force diagrams, along with a student recording sheet, and a key. This resource does come in color, but could be printed in black and white as well.
