AP Chemistry Kinetics Pixel Art in a Self-Checking Google Sheet

Use this self-checking pixel art for students to practice kinetics problems. In this Kinetics pixel art, students will:

  • Determine the rate of appearance or disappearance of a species in a reaction using the mole ratio

  • Determine the rate constant using the 1st order half-life equation

  • Determine the half-life for a 1st order reaction

  • Use the first and second-order integrated rate laws to calculate concentrations, k, or the time elapsed 

This Pixel Art includes 10 problems to practice these variations of kinetics problems..  When the correct numerical answer and unit are entered, colors will appear to the right within the sheet.  Once all are correct, an entire image will appear!  

This resource can be used for distance learning, or as guided practice after in-class instruction, or for review.  Both you and your students must have a Google account and access to the internet to use this resource.  

This resource includes both the student Google Sheet document and the Key.
