Try this self-checking coloring page for students to practice identifying elements from mass spectroscopy and photoelectron spectroscopy spectra. In this worksheet, students will view the mass spec or PES spectrum, and identify the element. Once they find the answer, they draw a line from the letter bubble to the answer bubble. Once all lines are drawn, a "stained glass" effect is seen. Students then color in the segments according to the color key.
