AP Chemistry Molecular Structure and Strength of Acids and Bases Scribble Notes

$2.00

This set of scribble notes for AP Chemistry contains all you need for notes on molecular structure and acid strength for AP Chemistry. Students can color, scribble, and make visual connections as they take notes in class. This set of scribble notes is designed for use during Unit 8 of the AP Chemistry curriculum. The scribble notes include:

  • comparisons of binary halide acids

  • comparisons of binary acids across a period

  • comparisons of inductive effects on acid strength

  • comparisons of oxyacids and resonance on acid strength

These molecular structure and acid strength scribble notes come in two versions:

  • Version 1 is more blank, with students needing to write in their notes during the lesson.

  • Version 2 is more structured, with more of the notes included and/or fill in the blank notes for the students to complete during the lesson.

Also included are 2 TEACHER GOOGLE SLIDES PRESENTATIONS.

  • Version 1 is more blank for those teachers that write on their boards/screens. This could be done with a Smartboard, tablet, etc.

  • Version 2 is more complete with more filled in and more text for those teachers that will be using a pointer/clicker to click through the slides.

Each teacher slide presentation also includes 2 Think-Pair-Share slide for students to compare acids and justify which acid would be stronger. There is also an optional extension activity for extra practice, which you could purchase here, or simply delete if you do not want to use it. Lastly, each presentation includes the Color Palette and font that I used on a slide at the end of the presentation in case you want to add any slides.
