Are you looking for a quick and engaging way for students to practice writing and balancing nuclear decay reactions? Write the room activities are a quick, engaging way for students to practice skills. This Write the Room activity is a great way for students to gain additional practice!
This activity contains 10 letter-sized pages containing nuclear decay prompts. Students will be asked to balance and/or write nuclear decay reactions. Students should be familiar with:
alpha decay
beta decay
positron emission
balancing and/or writing nuclear decay reactions
Students are given a recording sheet to write down their answers. The 10 sheets are hung up around the room, and individuals or groups of 2 will roam around the room, recording their answers.
This resource comes with 10 pages of nuclear decay prompts, along with a student recording sheet, and a key. This resource does come in color, but could be printed in black and white as well.
