Chemistry Periodic Table Stained Glass Coloring by Code Fall Worksheet
Try this self-checking coloring page for students to practice identifying elements by using the periodic table! In this worksheet, students use the prompt and a periodic table to identify the element. Once they find the element, they draw a line from the letter bubble to the answer bubble. Once all lines are drawn, a "stained glass" effect is seen. Students then color in the segments according to the color key.
This worksheet includes prompts for students to identify elements from:
electron configuration
groups and periods on the periodic table
valence electrons and energy levels
To complete the worksheet, students should have some understanding of groups on the periodic table (alkali metal, etc.), the difference between groups and periods, valence electrons and electron configurations.
This resource contains 10 prompts for identifying elements from the periodic table. Included in this resource:
instructions
student worksheet
completed key
