AP Chemistry Sigma Pi Hybridization Self Check Google Digital Worksheet Activity

$2.00

Do your students need additional practice on sigma bonds, pi bonds and hybridization? This self-checking Google Sheet will allow your students to practice determining the number of sigma an bi bonds in a molecule, as well as the hybridization on an indicated atom. If the answer entered by the student is correct, the progress bar will advance. Students will practice the following:

  • Determining the number of sigma bonds in a molecule

  • Determine the number of pi bonds in a molecule

  • Determine the hybridization around a designated atom

  • Determine the number of sigma and pi bonds in a condensed molecular structure (where C and H bonds may not be fully drawn out)

  • Determine the hybridization around a designated atom in a condensed molecular structure (where C-H bonds may not be indicated and lone pairs may not be drawn)

This resource can be used for distance learning, or as guided practice after in-class instruction, or for review.  As students complete the reactions, a progress bar will increase.  Both you and your students must have a Google account and access to the internet to use this resource.

This resource includes both the student Google Sheet document and the Key.
