Chemistry Types of Chemical Reactions SNAP Card Game
Want an engaging activity for students to practice identifying types of chemical reactions? Try this engaging game of SNAP! One player places down a card, and the next player in the circle does the same. Players take turns laying down cards until one player recognizes a match-in this case, two synthesis reactions, or two decomposition reactions, etc. Play continues until one student has collected all the cards or until you call time, in which case they can determine who has the most cards at the end. The cards in this deck contain reactions of the following types:
synthesis reactions
decomposition reactions
single replacement reactions
double replacement reactions
combustion reactions
This printable activity comes with 40 cards in two versions, one in complete color and the other in an ink-saving version.
