Chemistry VSEPR Theory Molecule Polarity IMF Pixel Art Activity Google Worksheet

$4.00

Are you looking for an engaging way for students to practice VSEPR shapes and bond angles? This pixel art includes 15 molecules for students to practice:

  • Drawing Lewis Structures for covalent molecules.

  • Identifying the molecular geometry of covalent molecules.

  • Identifying the bond angle of covalent molecules.

  • Identifying molecular polarity.

  • Determining the strongest intermolecular force a covalent molecule would exhibit.

This resource can be used for distance learning, or as guided practice after in-class instruction, or for review.  Both you and your students must have a Google account and access to the internet to use this resource.

Students should draw Lewis Structures for each molecule. Students will then use the Lewis Structure to predict molecular geometry, bond angle, molecule polarity, and the IMF the molecule would exhibit. If the student correctly identifies all of these, colors will appear to the right to indicate that the answers were correct. If one or more of the predictions is incorrect, no colors will appear. Once all problems are completed correctly, an entire picture appears.

This resource includes both the student Google Sheet document and the Key.
