Each team is given a few clothespins and one task card to start. Working together, students decide the classification. They pin a clothespin to the appropriate bubble(s) on the card, and bring it to you to get checked. If they are correct, they discard that task card and pick up a new one. The first team to correctly identify all 24 task cards is the winner!
The pdf document that comes with this resource includes 24 clothespin task cards in both a color and ink saving version. The pdf will also include a student recording sheet for teams to keep track of which cards have already been completed (or for the teacher to mark when teams are correct). The instructions document includes both directions for implementation and a key. This resource does not come with clothespins-you will need to supply your own.
